Elijah May is a consummate communications professional. After working for nearly a decade in the PR department of his Alma Mater, the University of Southern California, Elijah and his wife relocated to Austin for the great family environment. Elijah operated a small PR consulting business for about a year before jumping on board as Director of Communications for a small but rapidly growing Austin startup. At the end of ‘08 he moved briefly to Director of Marketing position before joining Business District Magazine as VP of Business Development. Elijah currently serves as the Communications Chair for the City of Austin’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and is on the Austin Chamber of Commerce’s Communications Council.
